The Spatial Changes of Transportation Infrastructure and Its Threshold Effects on Urban Land Use Efficiency: Evidence from China

The development of social production and the agglomeration urban population have brought tremendous pressure to transportation infrastructure. However, impacts on land use systems not been well investigated. Under limited resources, impact infrastructure efficiency (ULUE) is receiving increasing attention from scholars needs be explored. By collecting panel data 30 regions in China 2003 2018, this study we constructed a spatial Durbin model threshold regression explore spillover effects ULUE. most obvious findings emerging are that (1) ULUE randomly distributed over different China, but has an positive correlation; (2) significant direct (0.823) significantly stronger than (0.263); (3) double effect, values 4.520 6.429 respectively, with improvement infrastructure, its marginal show downward trend. This paper provides theoretical support for policymakers achieve cross-regional cooperation construction inspirations sustainable development.
